Virtually all of the bookshelves contain double stacks of Sefarim. As amazing as it may sound, Rav Shalom זצ״ל knew the location of every single Sefer and could retrieve Sefarim from his vast collection in minutes. Doubtless, his knowledge of these Sefarim placed him in a class of Torah scholarship that was incomparable.
